Hi,

Some plugins could no be compliant with m2e-wtp 1.0.0 because of range
exclusion definition.

In my case WDT v8.5.1<https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/community/forums/html/topic?id=9c08ac4c-87f4-43e2-a1c1-0f300f5246c6#7f0e9100-7038-4142-bb2d-877d1813d42a>,
a solution is to install precedent version.

Version 0.18.0 and 1.0.0 "seem" to be equivalent (no version 0.18.0 on
bugtracker <https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/enter_bug.cgi?product=M2E-WTP> or
wiki <http://wiki.eclipse.org/M2E-WTP/New_and_Noteworthy>, schedule
roadmap<http://dev.eclipse.org/mhonarc/lists/m2e-dev/pdfCpVv2K772g.pdf>doesn't
display majors differences).

I do a git diff between 0.18.0 / 1.0.0, I found internal/minor changes :
- Internal project configuration
- Dependency (m2e 1.4)
- Components version detection (JaxRS, JSF, etc)
- Unzip/Unpack monitor error management
- String literals (NON-NLS)
And a most important change :
- Project Facet detection

My question is : Eclipse Indigo + m2e 1.4.0 + m2e-wtp 0.18.0 (from p2 juno
snapshot repo <http://download.eclipse.org/m2e-wtp/snapshots/juno>) is
equivalent to "last functions" of m2e-wtp (1.0.0 include only Kepler
integration and some code structuration) or are there some majors features
or bug correction between 0.18.0 and 1.0.0.

Thanks in advance.
Best Regards.

0.18.0 was the development version that was eventually promoted to 1.0.0.

Hi Fred,

Thanks for quick reply. I consider your answer as "Yes, there are no
functional or (major) technical differences".

I will have reflexion between the ways :
- using m2e-wtp as "snapshot" version (my preference)
or
- quickfix the wdt plugin changing the range dependency manually (very bad
process).

Best Regards.
